Ivan Smith has worked thirty years as a free-lance graphic designer. He has enjoyed honing his fine art skills – mainly with watercolour and ink. His paintings have won several ARPA (Press) awards for their display on newspaper covers. He has produced many commercial paintings for private and overseas sale. With a love for the Victorian bushland, he has had great satisfaction painting his current gum tree series.

Cockatoo – Gum Tree Series
This peaceful setting was inspired by an autumn afternoon at Pallotti College, Millgrove. The gum trees just radiated the afternoon sun.
